چکیده Aspartic acid was found to be an efficient organocatalyst for the one-pot synthesis of tri- and tetrasubstituted imidazoles under solvent-free conditions. The remarkable advantages offered by this method are the inexpensive and green catalyst, mild reaction conditions, simple procedures, and excellent yield of products.
