چکیده	Trimethylphenylammonium tribromide has been introduced as a versatile and new oxidizing agent for the preparation of disulfides and sulfoxides from thiols and sulfides, respectively. The reaction progress is simple, and proceeds under mild and homogenous conditions in ambient temperature.
