چکیده In this paper, the synthesis and characterization of zirconium ferrite ((ZrO)2Fe2O5) magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) and their application as a catalyst in C–C cross-coupling reaction will be described. The structure of the catalyst was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and ICP-OES analysis. The resulting zirconium ferrite [(ZrO)2Fe2O5] was efcient for C–C coupling reactions, affording the desired products in good to excellent yields. Moreover, the catalyst could be easily recovered by magnetic separation and recycled for four times without signifcant loss of its catalytic activity.
