عنوان Palladium(0) complex of 1-(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)guanidine on SBA-15 as an effective, selective, green, and robust catalyst for the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction

چکیده Herein, the SBA-15@GBI-Pd was synthesized as a new and heterogeneous catalyst based on SBA-15 mesoporous, then its catalytic application was studied in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. For this purpose, first, SBA-15 mesoporous was produced by hydrothermal method using copolymer Pluronic surfactant (P123) as the organic structure template, hydrochloric acid to maintain the acidic environment, and tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) as a source of silica. Next, the surface of the synthesized SBA-15 synthesized SBA-15 mesoporous was modified through 3-iodopropyltriethoxysilane (IPTES) groups. Next, the modified SBA-15 was functionalized with 2-guanidinobenzimidazole (GBI) as a ligand for a suitable position for immobilization of metal ions, the functionalized SBA-15 was denoted as SBA-15@GBI. Finally, palladium(0) was immobilized on SBA-15@GBI, denoted as SBA-15@GBI-Pd nanocatalyst. The final nanocatalyst (SBA-15@GBI-Pd) was thoroughly investigated and characterized using various spectroscopic techniques like XRD, FT-IR, BET, SEM, EDXS, WDXS, and TGA. The catalytic activity of SBA-15@GBI-Pd was evaluated and studied in the Suzuki carbon- carbon coupling reaction. The salient features of the SBA-15@GBI-Pd nanocatalyst include easy and convenient preparation, large surface area, recyclability and reusability, high compatibility of recycled catalysts, short reaction time, and high product yield.
