An open sun dryer concrete bed with sensible heat storage medium was build. The effect of zeolite thermal storage on the drying bed was studied. The concrete has been produced using zeolite as an aggregate in the rate of 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 in the concrete with 10 cm depth. The layer of moist pistachios were scattered in the horizontal square 1×1 m concrete bed under open sun. The result shows that, the initial moisture content of 57.2% (d.b) was reduced to 21, 15, 12, 10 and 9±0.5% (d. b) in 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 zeolite rates, respectively. When zeolite was added in concrete bed, the drying efficiencies raised from 11.84% to 13.80%, 14.78%, 15.43% and 15.76% in 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 zeolite rates, respectively. The Page models are most suitable for 1 open sun drying through statistical parameter.
