Abstract

Description of materials and methods of the thesis/research plan: To conduct this study, 28 adult male Wistar rats were selected and divided into 4 groups of 7 as follows: - Control group: They are fed a normal diet and kept in environmental conditions similar to the other groups. Each rat in this group is injected with 0.3 ml of physiological serum daily and gavage. - Experimental group one: Animals in this group are injected intraperitoneally with cyclophosphamide at a dose of 5 mg/kg daily for 30 days (Khodaparast et al., 2014). - Experimental group two: In addition to the animals in this group being given cyclophosphamide at the above dose and method for 30 days, zinc sulfate is also given at a rate of 9 mg/kg of animal weight via gavage (Qasemi et al., 2022). - Third experimental group: Animals in this group were given zinc sulfate at a rate of 9 mg/kg of animal weight via gavage for 30 days.
