This particular study is a comparative study that compares and contrasts the morphological aspects of the selected texts. The aims of this study was to classify the types of morphological process of types of morphological process of prefixes, suffixes and infixes in the part of speech which is found in Hamlet and Othello plays and to analyze the morphological structures involving prefixes, suffixes, and infixes found in Hamlet and Othello. It sought to identify the common patterns of affixation employed by the authors in these literary works. This study use Quantitative research is an investigation of a specified issue, grounded in theoretical testing, quantified by numerical data, and examined via statistical methods. In contrast, a research grounded in qualitative inquiry aims to comprehend a social or human issue from various viewpoints. Qualitative research is performed in a natural environment and entails constructing a comprehensive and intricate representation of the topic. The comparative analysis of morphological affixation in Othello and Hamlet reveals a consistent dominance of suffixation across both texts, constituting over 75% of all affixation processes. This affixation pattern reflects Shakespeare’s stylistic tendency to manipulate base words through derivational and inflectional suffixes, which helped to refine character psychology, elevate thematic subtlety, and adjust grammatical precision.
