This study looks at how non-verbal communication is used in televised celebrity interviews, with a focus on Steve Harvey's way of interacting. It seeks to understand how non-verbal signals help create meaning and make conversations more effective in entertainment contexts.The research uses a qualitative multimodal method to examine specific interviews. It relies on Grice's Cooperative Principle and discourse pragmatics as the main theories. The results show that facial expressions, gestures, body posture, eye contact, and vocal features are important in expressing humor, emphasis, and sarcasm. They also help in controlling the flow of conversation and keeping the audience involved.The study finds that non-verbal communication is a key part of building meaning and making interactions effective during televised interviews.
