Abstract

Many investigations have been done on using zeolite in the diet of broiler chicken and layer hen in different parts of the world in recent years. Most of these investigations have shown that zeolites (clinoptilolite) increase enzymes stability in digestion tract and therefore improves their performance and decrease feed components movement and finally increase enzymes effect on them, so cause the increase of feeding materials digestibility and improvement of feed conversion ratio (2). Also, zeolites combine with aflatoxin and form a stable complex, so aflatoxin accessibility for absorbtion by broiler chicken and layer hen digestion tract decreases (3, 10). One of the other beneficial effects of zeolites, which have been discovered in recent years, is their effect on improving the quality of crust and quality of egg content. Based on this, we can use 4 percent zeolite into diets of broiler chicken and layer hen to get better results.
