In this theses, novel composite nanomaterials based on a V2O5/VO2/Co3O4/CF architecture were successfully prepared. The synthesis was initiated via a facile hydrothermal approach to obtain a precursor, which was subsequently converted into the final ternary nanostructure under a nitrogen (N2) atmosphere at 350 °C via a controlled process of calcination. To study the integrity of morphological and structural, the prepared materials were carefully characterized using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX). To improve the structural integrity and electrical conductivity, the resulting V2O5/VO2/Co3O4 nanostructures was uniformly coated onto CFs. The as-fabricated V2O5/VO2/Co3O4/CF electrode offered superb performance in electrochemical capability toward applications in supercapacitor, and at a current density of 1 A/g, it delivered a high specific capacitance of 660 F g−1, accompanied by remarkable cyclic stability and superior rate capability. This outstanding outcome is originated from the synergistic mechanism between the simultaneous reversible redox couple’s presence (Co3+/Co2+, Co4+/Co3+, and V5+/V4+). These results confirm that this simplified yet desirable electrode design offers a promising pathway for the high-performance development and commercially viable supercapacitors in the future.
