This research was done to determine and model the terminal velocity of strawberry, as one of its hydrodynamic properties, using a water column and a video camera. After extracting the images from the videos of fruits motion in water column by Video to Frame Software, the terminal velocities were determined. Then, the terminal velocity of the fruits was modeled based on physical characteristics by multivariable regression in MATLAB 2010a Software. The best models were based on the difference between the density of water and that of fruits and fruit volume, and the difference between the density of water and that of fruits and fruit mass with coefficient of determination of 0.64 and the mean square error of 0.0001. The models show that the difference between the density of water and that of fruits and fruit volume, and the difference between the density of water and that of fruits and fruit mass have the same effect on the terminal velocity of strawberry.
