Abstract

Herein, we report an appropriate procedure for the synthesis of 3,5-disubstituted-2,6-dicyanoaniline derivatives through a condensation reaction of β-nitrostyrenes, malononitrile and aldehydes using CoFe2O4@SiO2-Arginine magnetic nanoparticles as a basic nanocatalyst. In this work, 3,5-disubstituted-2,6-dicyanoaniline derivatives were synthesized in good yields. This catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, XRD, EDX, TGA, VSM and SEM analysis. Also, this nanocatalyst has advantages such as easy separation and reusability even after five runs without a significant reduction in its activity.
