Introduction

Masoud Bazgir My research focuses on soil sciences and biogeochemical cycling, microbial activities and biomass and mycorrhizeal fungi in forest ecosystems, with emphasis on the role of tree species on the soil physio-chemical properties, microbial processes and nutrient fluxes (via throughfall depositions and litterfall). Other research interests consist of combating desertification and dust storm phenomenon, land suitability evaluation, and crop growth modeling.
