The Thysanoptera fauna of the Hamedan Province (Western Iran) was studied in 2008–2011. The present checklist contains 84 species in 32 genera of Thysanoptera including new collecting places for thrips species in Hamedan Province (Western Iran). Among them, four subfamilies, 10 genera and 43 species are newly recorded for the fauna of this Province; and Mycterothrips glycines (Okamoto) is newly recorded for the fauna of Iran. The occurrence of Thrips, Frankliniella and Haplothrips species seems divers and should be investigated
