Aeolothrips euphorbiae Mirab-balou, sp. n. is described and illustrated on the base of specimens collected on Euphorbia cheiradenia Boiss. & Hohen. (Euphorbiaceae) from Ilam, Kermanshah and Lorestan provinces (Iran). A key to 25 species of the genus Aeolothrips Haliday recorded from Iran is also provided.
