Abstract

Herein, we present the synthesis of a novel heterogeneous, supported copper catalyst. This catalyst was preparedvia a one-pot process involving simultaneous polymer izationandring-openingreactionsoccurringatdifferentendsof a 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane chain, in conjunctionwith 2 Pyridylaminewithoutusingheterogeneoussupports.Thisreaction generatedapyridylamine-functionalizedhyperbranchedpolysilox ane, which served as a heterogeneous ligand for subsequent complexationwithcopper ions, resulting inthe formationof the [Cu(II)-2PA-GPTMS-HBPSi] complex. The framework of this complexischaracterizedbyahighlybranchedstructurecomposed of silicon and oxygen atoms, interconnected by 2-Pyridylamine ligand building blocks, and exhibits remarkable regularity. The evaluatedcomplexdemonstratedexcellentcatalyticactivityintheclicksynthesisof5-substituted1H-tetrazoles, servingasamodel reactionandyielding thedesiredheterocycles inexcellent yields andwithinshort reactiontimes.Reusability, hotfiltration, and leaching tests underscore its excellent reversibility, cyclability, structural stability, and specific capacity of up to five cycles. Consequently, this innovativemethodhas emergedas aconvenient andefficient alternative for the synthesisof heterogeneous catalystsandmaterials.
