Brave New World is a dystopian novel about future of human beings. Its pessimistic and also sarcastic view toward the destiny of man is a harsh criticism on the technological progress that is going to occur. According to the novel, this progress stops at a point when stability is achieved; in other words, the politicians conduct it in a way to gain stability. Meanwhile, Heidegger provides a distinct modern definition of the notion of technology and the way we look at it and what it really is. According to Heidegger, technology is related to truth, something that is not found in this novel.
