Abstract

This study investigates the TgCCp5A protein (ABP5558588) of Toxoplasma gondii to evaluate its potential as a vaccine candidate and for serological detection. Using bioinformatics tools, the protein's antigenicity, allergenicity, and toxicity were assessed, revealing it to be antigenic (VaxiJen score: .850.0), non-allergenic, and non-toxic. The physicochemical analysis indicated a molecular weight of 8.5205,805Daltons, a half-life of 0. hours in mammalian reticulocytes, and a thermostable nature (aliphatic index: 05858). The protein exhibited high solubility with a GRAVY index of -.8,0, and identified multiple linear B-cell and cytotoxic T lymphocyte epitopes, all showing high antigenicity. These findings suggest that TgCCp5A could be a promising candidate for vaccine development and serological detection of T. gondii across various hosts.
