The purpose of writing this article is to analyze and compare previous studies that have been conducted on strategic programs in Iranian universities. Since this article is a review-analysis. Data collection has been done on a documentary basis based on previous studies. In this study, in addition to summarizing the previous studies, their content analysis is also considered. The findings suggest that university strategy maps often use specific models for strategic planning in the field of study, some of which are important in several respects, including the vision, mission, goals and themes of the strategy. The author has dealt with it in research. He then uses Lorestan University as the subject of a case study to show how the university's strategic plan can be turned into a strategic plan. According to this analysis, this study draws a model for the effective use of the strategy map approach in universities and mentions the strategy map as a comprehensive tool for looking at the correct and determining the exact path of university progress in the path of evolution and excellence.
