چکیده With the rapid proliferation of mobile technology, Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) has emerged as a dynamic and accessible paradigm in the field of English language education. This research article explores the effectiveness of utilizing mobile devices as pedagogical tools to enhance English language proficiency among learners. Employing a systematic literature review, we synthesize the existing studies to identify the key trends, challenges, and pedagogical strategies associated with mobile assisted English language learning. The analysis reveals a growing body of evidence supporting the positive impact of mobile-assisted learning on various language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Mobile applications, interactive multimedia resources, and gamified learning platforms have demonstrated their potential to engage learners actively, fostering a more immersive and personalized language-learning experience. Additionally, the ubiquitous nature of mobile devices transcends the traditional classroom constraints, providing learners with the flexibility to practice language skills in diverse contexts, thereby promoting real-world language application. However, challenges such as device disparities, digital literacy, and the need for effective teacher training persist. The article discusses potential solutions and highlights the importance of a balanced integration of mobile technology within a pedagogical framework. Furthermore, it underscores the need for continued research to explore emerging technologies, adaptability, and long-term learning outcomes. In conclusion, mobile assisted English language learning represents a promising avenue for educators and learners alike, capitalizing on the advantages of mobility, interactivity, and personalization. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse surrounding MALL, offering insights to inform educators, policymakers, and researchers in their efforts to harness the full potential of the mobile technology for language education.
