Impoliteness principal is a multidisciplinary topic of research in that it may be examined in a variety of fields such as psychology, sociology, history, media, business, and literary studies, amongst other things. Asserting that impoliteness develops as a result of social contact. Despite the fact that Culpeper's impoliteness methods have been explored in a variety of fields and languages, these strategies have not been investigated by an online community (e.g., instgram). As a result, the current study fills up this gap by defining and assessing rude behavior in social media contact. The data collected in this study include socio pragmatics analysis of impoliteness in 6 posts from different Instagram's pages. The sampling scheme is one of the crucial factors in situations where the purpose of the study is to generalize the findings. Therefore, the data selection was based on a purposively predefined set of criteria to ensure that the data were representative of 6 posts from different Instagram's pages. The main objective is to explore the functions and varieties of impoliteness methods utilized by people inside the border of social media interactions. The study tries to find answers to many questions, one of these is: what are the functions of impoliteness in Social Media interaction? After collecting and analyzing the data using Culpepperʼs model, the study come with many conclusions, some of these is; Impolite words and expressions are just merging into our societies, especially nowadays with the growing technology, these expressions are used almost on a daily basis and with all people despite their identity, age and status. Unfortunately, impolite and rude words are considered to be humorous nowadays. They are largely used by the young generation who spend a lot of time on the net expressing themselves freely in social media. Celebrities and famous people are more likely to be exposed to impolite expressions.
