چکیده This study investigated the semiotic analysis of Arab tribal gestures, decoding their complex meanings, and understanding their function in a tribal context. By utilizing semiotic frameworks from notable theorists such as Saussure, Peirce, and Barthes, the study offered an in-depth exploration of how gestures within Arab tribal societies operated as symbols of communication that served not only practical purposes but also upheld cultural traditions and values. It examined how gestures in Arab tribal societies functioned not only as physical movements but as deeply symbolic cultural signs that communicated identity, emotion, hierarchy, and social relations. The research identified the most commonly used gestures among Arab tribes, analyzed their symbolic meanings within their cultural context, investigated their role as semiotic signs, and explored the relationship between tribal gestures, identity, hierarchy, and values.
